Low Income Housing Tax Credits & Cost Containment in Connecticut, 2014

The Connecticut Housing Finance Agency's 2014 Qualified Allocation Plan provides incentives for cost containment.

Connecticut's 2014 QAP ranks projects according to the credits per qualified bedroom. The project requiring the least credits per bedroom will earn 5 points. The project requiring the most credits per bedroom will earn 0 points. All projects falling between these two extremes will earn scaled points. Connecticut’s 2014 QAP further encourages cost effectiveness by awarding 2 points to the top two projects (per classification) with the lowest percentage of Intermediary costs.
