Low-Income Housing Tax Credits & Sustainable Development in Michigan, 2017

Michigan State Housing Development Authority’s 2015-2016 Qualified Allocation Plan includes a threshold requirement for green construction while also providing a point incentive. 

Projects earning Green Policy Certification will receive 10 points during the scoring process. All projects applying for and receiving LIHTC will be required to incorporate one of three available green standards referenced in the Green Policy which can be found in Tab M of the Combined Application.
